Truck run-in damages drunken motodop, bike

A tipsy motodop driver came a cropper in Phnom Penh’s Dangkor district on Sunday night when he crashed into the back of a parked truck that had no lights.

Witnesses said the motorcyclist was injured on his chin when he hit the other vehicle, also damaging his bike.

Police blamed the truck’s lack of illumination for the smash, leading the moto taxi driver to demand $700 compensation.

They settled on $100. Fortunately a friend was on hand to take his battered pal to hospital.
