Tuk-tuk driver involved in toddler hit-and-run

An errant tuk-tuk driver badly injured a 14-month-old infant on Monday in the capital’s Por Sen Chey district after he hit her with his vehicle.

The girl was playing alone on the pavement outside her home when the driver ploughed through.

He tried to escape even after realising what had happened but was chased down by relatives of the victim, who apprehended him.

Uncommonly, they did not beat him to a pulp and instead waited for police. Nokorwat
