Tweakers’ nerves get them ticket to slammer

Four fidgety garment workers had their meth-party plans put on ice after a chance encounter with police in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district on Wednesday.

Police pulled them over as all four had squeezed onto one moto, but police became increasingly suspicious the more the foursome appeared to panic.

A brief search revealed the source of their consternation: a bag of meth in the wallet of one suspect. All four are now being questioned by the cops.
