Two arrested, but one takes money and runs

Two men are behind bars, but more than $1,000 in cash and jewellery is still missing after a break-in in Sihanoukville. Police said three men waited for a local vendor to lock up and leave for work before making their move on Wednesday.

When the vendor returned to find $350 cash and roughly $800 in gold rings and bracelets gone, she contacted police who had two men in custody in short order. Both confessed, but said their cohort had made off with the loot. KOH SANTEPHEAP
