A 20-year-old student is recovering in hospital after being waylaid by moto thieves yesterday.

Police said the man was pulling up to his home after a trip to a market in the capital’s Sen Sok district when three assailants rode alongside and struck him in the head with a brick, leaving him unconscious.

Police are now searching for the trio and stolen moto, but have little to work with so far.
