Wanted man makes visit to sick, elderly mother

One can hardly blame a wanted man for risking a visit to his sick, elderly mum. One can, however, arrest him, which is precisely what happened in Kratie town on Monday.

Police said the 46-year-old had been on the lam for five years, ever since shooting a woman as he stole her necklace.

Still, with his mum fallen ill, he couldn’t resist the urge to visit, which quickly brought police to his front door.

He’s since been sent to court.
