Wheels, wings seized as cops raid cockfight

Nightmare neighbours were arrested in Pailin town on Saturday for playing host to some unwanted, feathery guests. Police said they received complaints from a disgruntled resident after an illegal cockfighting ring set up shop next to his house.

When police busted the ring, they found 10 motorbikes and a quintet of fighting birds on the property. Five men and three women were arrested while many more managed to escape. DEUM AMPIL
