When will the ‘poorly’ mother line get old?

A “sick” mother, a borrowed moto . . . If we had a dollar for every time a Blotter item started this way, we’d be on an island somewhere. Instead, we’re here relaying yet another tale of trust gone awry.

The latest incident occurred Monday in the capital’s Daun Penh district where a party ended with one friend asking the other to borrow their moto to visit the aforementioned mum.

Sure enough, three days later, the victim decided it might be a good time to call police. As usual, the bike had been pawned.
