While family on break, police thwart break-in

Proactive police work prevented a rough welcome-back present for a Prey Veng town family.

While the family was away on vacation, an opportunistic 20-year-old tried to break in, struggling to get the door open, police said.

Apparently too busy with the task at hand, the thief didn’t notice a police officer patrolling the area, who arrested him. The suspect confessed to that and other break-ins. DEUM AMPIL
