A 30-year-old woman was seriously injured when two thugs attacked her during an attempted robbery in the capital’s Meanchey district on Wednesday night.

The woman was travelling to the local market with her husband when three young men on a motorbike gave chase, one of the men hitting the woman round the head with a bike chain.

Two men, were caught by villagers and arrested. The third suspect escaped. KOH SANTEPHEAP
