Woman finds it’s best to let sleeping vagrants lie

A woman suffering from a mental illness was arrested on Tuesday after attacking a homeowner who attempted to angrily shoo her away.

Police said the suspect had been sleeping in front of a home in Banteay Meanchey’s Sisophon town when the homeowner emerged, yelling at her to leave.

She declined, instead choosing to pick up a rock and attack her perceived abuser.

Police said the woman made no attempt to flee and was laughing hysterically when they found her outside the house.

She has since been sent to hospital.
