Woman gets last laugh on conniving lothario

A silver-tongued trickster had the tables turned on him in Kampong Chhnang town, after cheating a woman out of $2,000. Having convinced her he’d fallen in love, the 20-year-old lothario asked the woman for cash to pay for workers during the harvest season on a fictitious cassava plantation.

But when he then stopped answering her calls, she got her uncle involved, who deployed his niece in an old-fashioned, honeypot-style sting. When the man showed up for a promised tryst, he found police awaiting him. KOH SANTEPHEAP
