Woman pays price for firm grip on purse

A 20-year-old woman is recovering in hospital but still has her bag after a snatching gone wrong in the capital’s Tuol Kork district on Monday.

Police said the woman was riding her moto alone when a suspect aboard a plate-less motorbike swooped passed and grabbed hold of the bag.

Unfortunately, her firm grip on the purse caused her to be dragged off her vehicle. Police are searching for the culprit.
