Flat broke, a travelling woman on Tuesday spotted an opportunity to pay for her trip. The 46-year-old was in a taxi when the driver stopped at a market in Pursat’s Krakor district for a bite to eat.
The woman spotted a busy fish vendor, and netted the seller’s plastic bag containing 10 million riel of earnings ($2,500). Frightened by the fishmonger’s screams, the woman panicked, and hid. Quickly found, she admitted her guilt to police. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
