Would-be bike jackers arrested after stick-up

Would-be bike jackers arrested after stick-up

Three members of a 10-man mob were captured in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district on Friday night, after they attempted to jack a man’s motorbike while he rode with his girlfriend.

The man had just left a nightclub when the 10 tried to block their way, wielding sticks and belts.

But the bike owner instead sped up and escaped from the assailants, despite him and his girlfriend sustaining injuries.

They alerted police, who arrested three of them and are searching for the rest.
