A 25-year-old man was arrested in Kampong Cham province’s Kroch Chhmar district on Monday after succumbing to the power of the ring.

Police said the suspect had been visiting a neighbour, but after his departure, the latter noticed his gold ring had gone missing.

He called police and told them what happened, and authorities immediately arrested the alleged ring-bearer. However, there was no word on whether the ring was returned.
