Would-be thieves try to jack jalopy in capital

A presumably novice moto thief was arrested in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district on Tuesday after trying to steal a broken moto with two accomplices, both of whom got away.

Police say the victim had been walking his moto, as it had broken down mid-ride, when the three suspects tried to take the clunker from him at knife-point.

Cops, however, saw the scene and managed to apprehend one suspect, 23, who has been sent to court.
