Youth dodges angry dog, but outcome still bites

“Beware of dog”, the old sign says, though “beware of cars coming in the opposite direction” proved an equally important admonition for a capital teen on Friday.

Police said the 15-year-old was on his moto when a local mutt bounded at him in what he was certain was an attempt to bite him in the leg.

In a panic, the teen veered his moto away and straight into the path of a water delivery truck.

The victim, although unbitten, is now nursing a leg injury from the collision in hospital.
