Police swoop in to stop rowdy cockfighting ring

After turning a blind eye to a long-running cockfight for years, Kratie town police finally gave in to complaining townsfolk and swooped in on Friday, only to see nearly everyone get away.

The raid wasn’t wholly unsuccessful; in addition to arresting the homeowner, police managed to seize a dozen motos along with four fighting birds.

They’re confident most attendees will sheepishly turn up to claim their scooters at some point. DEUM AMPIL
