On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of Cambodian Public Bank, I wish to congratulate and compliment Cambodian Public Bank’s Management and staff especially Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr Teh Hong Piow, the chairman of the Public Bank Group, and Cambodian Public Bank for supporting banking development and sustainable growth which have gained much support from local and foreign customers.

In 1992 when Cambodia was in the midst of national reconciliation especially with the convene of its first national election, Cambodian Public Bank was the first commercial bank to open in Cambodia with capital investment from Malaysia. The presence of Cambodian Public Bank was a positive contributor towards instilling local and foreign investor’s confidence about investing in Cambodia.

With its current financial products and services in place and wide ranging progress in banking operations, the Bank has not only endeavored to grow and provide good customer service, but also advocated strong governance demonstrated by its attentive compliance with the National Bank of Cambodia’s regulations and guidelines; the Bank is deemed a good partner with its participation in the development of Cambodia’s banking system in line with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s Financial Development Strategy (2011-2020).

On this auspicious occasion, I would like to take this opportunity to bless the Management and staff of Cambodian Public Bank with good health, sustainable success and efficiency in the banking business.
