Conviction upheld for former Chea Sim adviser

Supreme Court Judge Khim Ponn yesterday upheld a conviction against disbarred Cambodian-American lawyer David Chanaiwa, a former advisor to Senate president Chea Sim.

Chanaiwa was in 2011 sentenced to 18 months jail for firing a gun in the air at the River House Restaurant in 2007.
