Couple ‘found with 1 kg of meth’

Military police in the capital’s Sen Sok district arrested a man and a woman on Wednesday night after a raid on the couple’s rental house turned up more than a kilogram of methamphetamine.

Authorities had been investigating the couple, for several months before the raid, which uncovered 27 packets of meth and 10,000 tablets of the drug, Phnom Penh military police captain Keo Bunsong said yesterday.

The couple, whose names were not released, are to appear in court today.
