‘Governance school’ a step closer with MoU

Transparency International yesterday moved a step closer to establishing a “governance school” for provincial, district and commune officials by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Interior Ministry.

TI executive director Preap Kol said the program already had identified a building at the ministry where it hopes to train its first batch of sub-national public servants, who will in turn become teachers to those at the local level, by mid this year.
