Mekong Cross-border Trade Assistance Announced

The Asia Development Bank and the Japanese government will provide technical support for sanitary and phytosanitary procedures, or guidelines concerning food safety and the treatment of animal and plant matter, during cross-border trade between Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. The project assistance, announced yesterday, will be funded by a $2 million grant from the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction.
