Rancor suspected after samurai sword attack

A 26-year-old man was seriously injured after being attacked in Pursat province’s Phnom Kravanh district on Saturday.

According to police, the victim was on his way home at night and two suspects rode up alongside him on a motorbike and attacked with a samurai sword.

He was slashed on the arm and he fell from the motorbike. The suspects escaped and the police are looking for them.

No motive has been established, but as always, “rancor” is being considered. RAKSMEI KAMPUCHEA
