Right of way remains unpopular concept

A pedestrian in Banteay Meanchey’s Mongkol Borei district paid the price for a motorist’s speeding ways on Tuesday.

Police said the man was riding like the wind when he slammed into the pedestrian from behind, breaking his leg.

A nearby resident called an ambulance and both men were admitted to hospital, while police suggested that had the man been driving at a reasonable speed, the accident might not have happened. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
