Robbers interrupted mid-heist, hauled to jail

Four men have been sent to court on suspicion of robbing a couple on Tuesday in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district.

Police say that the victims were returning from a wedding party and stopped their motorbike to take a rest.

Taking advantage of their vulnerability, the four suspects rode up and attempted to rob them at knifepoint, police said.

Luckily, police intervened before it was all over and were able to arrest the men. KOH SANTEPHEAP
