Foreign Minister Hor Namhong speaks to reporters at Phnom Penh International Airport before departing for New York on Friday.

Nicky McGavin, popular manager of last year's Angkor Wat Bike Race, is back in the saddle this year, with the event now styled the Angkor Wat Bike Rally.

The bike event, to be held on December 6, is part of the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon. The event is run autonomously by the Village Focus International NGO in conjunction with the planning group behind the marathon.

McGavin managed last year's bike race as an employee of Village Focus, but he quit the NGO at the beginning of March. "I left supposedly permanently, but now I'm back and managing the bike race again." PETER OLSZEWSKI
