Cambodia have risen eight places in Fifa world rankings released this week to 174, behind Southeast Asian rivals Thailand (116, down four places), Indonesia (132, +7), Singapore (136, -4), Malaysia (152, +9), Vietnam (159 +6) and Laos, who climbed an impressive 28 places to 168. East Timor, who drew 2-2 with Cambodia during Suzuki Cup qualifying last month, rose two spots to 192. Spain remained the world's top-ranked team, ahead of Germany and Italy.
