MotoGP riders head to Germany’s Sachsenring

MotoGP World Championship leader Casey Stoner, of Australia, will look to increase his gap of 19 points over reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo of Spain as they compete in round nine of the series in Germany this weekend. Stoner clinched a podium place last season at the Sachsenring circuit near Chemnitz in Saxony, Germany and took the victory in 2008. Spainish rider Dani Pedrosa won last year’s race convincingly.
