The two-thirds length game-week 34 managed to produce quality despite lacking quantity, with rousing routs for both Manchester sides as well as the dastardly debutants Swansea.

Carlos Tevez became the second successive Argentinean striker playing for Man City to top the PPP/CTN Fantasy League gameweek charts with a stunning hat-trick past Norwich.

His goals and assist garnered 19 points, the exact same score that colleague and compatriot Sergio Aguero mustered the previous round to claim MVP status.

Aguero made another appearance in the Dream team with his own double for 12 points.

Other prize picks included Swansea’s Icelandic enigma Gylfi Sigurdsson on 14 points for his score and assist, Wigan’s Jordi Gomez on 13 points for the same feat and Man United’s brace bagging Wayne Rooney on 13 points.

In our weekly competition, the numero uno was the aptly named The One FC managed by Christian Seng.

With Rooney as captain, and no less than four other Dream teamers – Aguero, Sigurdsson, Man United’s Jonathan Evans (9 points) and Sunderland stopper Simon Mignolet (8) – Christian collected a total of 92 points to top the standings.

The One FC squad fell just inside of our weekly transfer allowance of four to remain eligible of the Cellcard sponsored prizes of either an internet dongle or US$20 phone voucher as well as a T-shirt.

Gameweek 35 is a bumper edition, with an extra match featuring Aston Villa and Bolton. It also gets underway on Saturday with a London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea, so get your transfers made before 5:30pm.
