Gameweek 10 of the Cellcard Fantasy League saw Arsenal surge further ahead at the summit, Chelsea stunned into submission at Newcastle and Man City emphatically remind everyone how they cannot be discounted for the title.

With a 7-0 obliteration of Norwich, the Sky Blues were bound to supply some fodder for the Dream team, even if there were seven different names on the scoresheet and one was an own goal by Bradley Johnson.

Sergio Aguero is a constant consideration for fantasy managers, and the Argentinean striker was in sparkling form to notch a goal and a hat-trick of assists for the round’s top tally of 18 points.

Other honourable mentions go to defenders Steven Caulker of Cardiff and Gareth McAuley of West Brom, who both netted a goal at one end and kept a clean sheet at the other for 15 points.

The weekly competition was hotly contested with several sides pushing for centuries. However, the best total of the gameweek came from Pheak Lim, who clocked up 93 points with his team byMe@Cambodia.

Pheak’s most respectable move was to transfer in Ageuro as captain for 36 points, while Man United hitman Robin van Persie (12), Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey (10) and Stoke’s goal scoring keeper Asmir Begovic (9) also made ample additions.

Pheak collects a US$20 phone voucher and T-shirt from sponsors Cellcard.

Gameweek 11 is stuffed into the two-day weekend, with the Man United v Arsenal clash headlining the list on Sunday night.

Over in the concurrently run Cellcard Facebook fanpage competition, the question posed of who will score the fastest goal from gameweek 10 and in which minute generated a good response.

Few could’ve predicted it would be a freak, wind-assisted strike from Stoke stopper Begovic in the 13th second (and thus first minute) that would be the answer. But two users picked Stoke as their team.

In the end, R’Visal Csl was closest with his guess of the ninth minute, beating Sokchhun Chhay by just one minute to claim the prize of a $10 phone voucher.

Next week’s questions has been set as: What will be the final score and which player will score first in the game between Man United and Arsenal?
