Police team athletes top podiums in aquathlon

Members of the National Police Sports Club took a clean sweep of the gold medals in the aquathlon (running and swimming) events of the 2014 National Triathlon Championships, which were held over the weekend at the National Sports Complex.

According to Cambodian Triathlon Federation general secretary Ngin Sopanha, the competition attracted 79 male and 21 female athletes from various clubs and associations.

The U18 boys and girls races were comprised of a 150-metre swim and a 2.6km run, while the over-18 women’s and men’s sections involved a 250m swim and a 4km run.
