The New South Wales Blues had their hearts broken for a seventh successive year yesterday as the Queensland Maroon’s Cooper Cronk booted a late field goal from 40 metres at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium to clinch a 21-20 victory in the deciding fixture of their annual three-match State of Origin rugby league series.
