Seven sporting competitions will be on display as part of the inaugural Sea Festival at Sihanoukville’s Occheateal Beach on New Year’s Eve.

The event, organised by the Ministry of Tourism, is in celebration of the beach resort’s recent induction into the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club.

Along with exhibition competitions in beach volleyball, wrestling (on sand), Khmer kickboxing, Bokator, open water swimming (5km), jet-ski racing and a 5km fun run (open for family teams), there will be a seafood and accessories fair and a music concert.
