Despite a surprise 2-0 defeat of Thailand yesterday in Jakarta, Singapore saw their 26th SEA Games campaign end while reigning champions Malaysia wrapped up an advance from the group stage with a 1-0 over hosts Indonesia. Group A winners Thailand will now face Myanmar in the semifinals tomorrow and Malaysia will play Vietnam, who grabbed top spot in Group B after beating Laos 3-1 yesterday. The final and third-place playoff is on Monday.
