Table tennis champs hit off at Dambol Touk hall

Players from 14 clubs and associations across the country gathered at Dambol Touk indoor hall of the National Sports Complex yesterday morning for the start of the 2014 National Table Tennis Championships.

The five-day competition is being hosted by the Cambodia Table Tennis Federation with financial and logistical support from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.

“We can’t be perfect in organising this inaugural event as we have a lack of support for food and accommodation, but we promise to do better next year,” said CTTF secretary-general Soun Sothearith.
