Cambodia were given a harsh lesson in the AFF U19 Championship yesterday via a 5-0 thumping by Thailand at the Youth Training Centre in Yangon. With the win, Thailand leapfrogged Cambodia into top spot of Group A while Malaysia pushed the Kingdom down to third thanks to a 6-0 rout over Singapore yesterday. Cambodia still have a chance of qualifying for the knockout stage but will likely require a comprehensive victory over Singapore in their last group game tomorrow.
