Tournament, leagues conclude in Battambang

The soccer-savvy province of Battambang has been decked up for a feast of street football this weekend as the 27-team men’s event, which kicked off three days ago, reaches its climax next Sunday. Games have been cut shorter, though official futsal rules are still in play for the tournament which has proved immensely popular among the local population. Adding to the excitement Sunday is the final phase of the U16 and U13 boys and girls leagues which began nearly two months ago.
