Warriors maul Crown 4-0 in Singapore Cup tie

Phnom Penh Crown were gunned down by the attacking might of Singapore Armed Forces FC in their 2011 RHB Singapore Cup preliminary match last night, which ended 4-0 to the home side. A first-half hat-trick by 24-year-old Singaporean striker Erwan Gunawan had the Cambodian visitors on their knees before Fazrul Nawaz put the tie to bed on 67 minutes. In Wednesday night’s game, Etoile FC also advanced to the quarterfinals after beating Tanjong Pagar United 2-0.
