Women’s sepaktakraw team reach quarters

Cambodia’s women’s sepak-takraw team grabbed a respectable quarterfinals berth at the inaugural ISTAF Sepak-takraw World Cup, held in Kuala Lumpur from July 21 to 24. “It instills pride that our first result in sepaktakraw sees us reach the quarterfinals like this as we know we have rarely achieved better,” Chhoun Leng, representative of the Cambodian delegate and a sub-director at the Administrative Department of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, said.
