USAID / Social Innovation Lab – Kampuchea (SILK) project

DAI is an employee-owned global development company that has worked with thousands of local businesses and civil society organizations (CSOs) in Cambodia over the past 30 years. DAI seeks candidates for our newest Cambodia project, the three (3) year USAID/Social Innovation Lab–Kampuchea (SILK). SILK will work with civil society and technology entrepreneurs to catalyze social innovation through new media technologies and a groundbreaking innovation lab – a space to host social and technology professionals who will design programs and tools to support CSOs and advance social issues; to attract investors to fund innovative new products; and to provide mentorship for civil society and technology professionals. Technology Program Manager (TPM) – The TPM will manage development of SILK’s technology services, products, enterprises, and content. S/he will oversee development and management of the social innovation lab, a technology apprenticeship program, and a social enterprise incubation program. Candidates who meet the following qualifications are urged to apply:
. Three (3) years experience working in ICT, preferably with a start-up;
. A B.A. / B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or commensurate work experience) and understanding of web and mobile application developments in Cambodia;
. Strong communication skills with proficiency in English and Khmer language; and
. Understanding of the user-centered design process.

Communications Officer (CO) – The CO will be responsible for all communications, and development and promotion of all written/social media products targeted to USAID and the Cambodian technology community, CSOs, and media. Candidates who meet the following qualifications are urged to apply:
. 3-5 years of experience in communications, public affairs, public awareness and/or media;
. Experience working on USAID-funded projects is preferred;
. Strong writing skills in English;
. A degree in English, communications, or related field.

Office Assistant (OA) – The OA will support the project team on a variety of admin and clerical tasks including: maintaining office filing systems; procurement support; and greeting guests / directing telephone calls. Candidates who meet the following qualifications are urged to apply:
. High School Diploma or equivalent in related field;
. At least 3 years work experience in the administrative support field preferably with international donor-funded projects, UN agencies or NGOs; and
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Khmer.

Driver – The Driver will provide driving and transportation management support, as well as assisting in administrative duties in the SILK office. The driver will transport project staff on all project-related travel; and will operate, maintain, fuel, and keep relevant records of the vehicle in a compliant and diligent manner. Candidates who meet the following qualifications are urged to apply:
. Excellent driving record with at least three years work experience as a driver;
. Valid local driver’s license; and
. Proficient English speaker.
