Teen’s fender bender leads to ugly results

An unfortunate moto driver learned a lesson in road safety yesterday after a minor altercation turned into a full-fledged attack on a Daun Penh district road.

Heavy traffic led the 19-year-old victim to graze a fellow rider’s wheels. It was nothing a lick of paint wouldn’t fix, but despite offering his apologies the men, described as “gangsters”, could not be calmed, and took out their rage on the young man.

Police arrived too late and the attackers made their getaway, but not before the victim had identified them. Koh Santepheap
