Thieves arrested but cash unaccounted for

A low-paid restaurant worker watched in horror as her entire monthly salary of $50 vanished into the dark on Saturday.

Police said the 19-year-old was leaving her Chamkarmon district job when two young hoods drove by and snatched her bag and the salary within.

Local police happened by in time to have her point out the escaping thieves, who they managed to chase down. Sadly, the bag was ditched during the chase and has yet to be recovered. KOH SANTEPHEAP
