Van driver leaves wake of destruction in path

A van's driver has left a husband and wife recuperating in hospital after a nasty accident in Kandal’s Kien Svay district on Monday.

Police said the driver, only realising at the last second that he was about to rear-end two motos, swerved to avoid them. Unfortunately, he ploughed directly into oncoming traffic before then proceeding to crash into the wall of a nearby home.

In addition to the injuries, the collision destroyed two motorbikes. No arrest was reported. KOH SANTEPHEAP
