Workers faint en masse

More than 60 garment workers fainted yesterday at a factory in Svay Rieng’s province’s Bavet district, police said. One female worker fainted and others rapidly followed en masse at the You Li International (Cambodia) Garment, Ltd site, deputy district police chief Hun Savorn said, citing witness reports. The provincial environmental department said it was caused by chemical odours.
