Griff Tapper worked for many years in film and television, as a rigger, set builder and grip in New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The films he has worked on include: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), Ghost Rider (2007), Rogue (2007), Where the Wild Things Are (2009), The Pacific (2010 HBO series), Clash of the Titans (2010), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 & 2 (2010), I, Frankenstein (2014), and Tracks (2013).
He has spent time at The Jakarta Post and The Manila Times and since January 2014 has worked full-time as a video journalist for The Phnom Penh Post.
His photography, video and writing has been featured in The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal Online, The Age, The Herald Sun, The Phnom Penh Post, The Jakarta Post, The Manila Times, ABC, and The Courier.
He holds a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), a Bachelor in Creative Industries from Charles Sturt University, and a Diploma in Film and Television Production from North Sydney TAFE.
