Biography: 

Harriet joined The Post in October 2014. She previously worked as a journalist and editor in Beirut, focussing on stories about social issues and culture in Lebanon and the region, including reporting from the Gezi Park occupation in Istanbul. She has contributed from afar to publications including the New Statesman, New Internationalist and Financial Times. Between Beirut and Phnom Penh Harriet returned to Cambridge for a post-graduate degree in political thought, where she co-edited the university's feminist magazine.
