THE Angkor Enterprise, a state-run institution that manages tickets sales for international visitors to the Angkor Archaeological Park, has launched a new website that will show real-time figures of tickets sold and other information relevant to tourism.

Angkor Enterprise has modernised its ticket system to be in line with international standards and it will show the number of tickets sold instantly on its new website, which operates in five languages – Khmer, Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean – in what it said was a move to ensure transparency and accountability.

Last year, the Angkor Park welcomed nearly 2.6 million international tourists, earning $116.4 million in revenue, up eight per cent from 2017.
