Q. How is the derivatives market performing in Cambodia?

Even though the Kingdom, as well as global markets, has been affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, the derivatives market in Cambodia continues to grow significantly in terms of trading volume and the number of market players, which are positive signs of sustainable development. Cambodia’s derivatives market is becoming an attractive destination for an increasing number of investors.

Q. Does G-Link have any programmes to guide individuals interested in the derivatives industry?

Yes we do. I’m always proud that we are able to play a vital part in the development of Cambodia’s derivatives market. We keep doing our best to provide our clients, investors and traders with the most efficient ways, highest standards and best experiences in trading. In addition, G-Link has introduced three new educational projects to provide knowledge, skills and confidence to individuals seeking to challenge themselves to become derivatives traders.

Q. Can you elaborate on the main features of these three programmes?

First, I would like to introduce our “Live Broadcast Project” that is conducted from Monday to Saturday, which focuses on economic news, financial knowledge, real-time trading practices, derivatives market analysis and profitable investment opportunities.

To assure professionalism and reliability, our Live Broadcast Project features experts, namely the head of the G-Link fintech department Naoto Arase, with more than 40 years’ experience in the financial markets, and Long Samnang, Nhim Kosol and Chhea Chhayheng, all with extensive knowledge of the derivatives market. We also invite special guests and other industry experts to share their knowledge.

Another valuable programme is “The Non-Farm Payrolls Night”, which has been running successfully since 2020 and serves as an innovative platform to provide education for all participants in an exciting atmosphere.

G-Link hosted a Non-Farm Payrolls Night on April 1 that included an interesting trading competition to stimulate learning, with participants analysing and practising fundamental technical skills in derivatives trading, and prizes awarded for the top five winners.

The third programme, the “G-Link Happy Challenge”, teaches participants how to become professional traders and make profits in the derivatives market.

All participants get detailed lessons, tips and guides throughout the programme from industry experts who will help them obtain practical trading experience, build investment portfolio diversification and acquire insights into the derivatives market.

Those interested can register at :https://share.hsforms.com/1ZkdWL-pBTRyImjIxk1Nvigc5e69 or scan the QR Code to join the programme. Registration is free. Prizes are awarded for those successfully completing the Happy Challenge programme.

Participants can also attend the Derivatives Trading Training Course conducted by the market regulator, the SERC.

Registration is now open and the closing date is April 17. For enquiries contact G-Link at 010 58 72 72 or visit the Golden FX Link Capital Facebook page.
